Just Youth works with students across the age range, from primary to 6th form, with a particular focus on Years 7-11. We are based in Salford, but can travel throughout the Northwest. Our team of priests, qualified lay youthworkers and peer volunteers can work with your school to create a package that fits your needs, based around themes and issues of your choosing.
Retreat and Discovery Days
Challenges, dilemmas, discussions, creative activities, guided meditations, time for prayer and more. The program can also include Eucharist or Reconciliation. We welcome young people a form at a time or in larger groups to our centre in Salford, or our team can travel to school.

Sex and Relationships Education
This can be a challenging and sensitive subject to deliver, and our team has the expertise to present it in a way that's relevant and engaging for the young people, while remaining true to the teachings of the Church. From puberty and friendship, through the risks of STI's, to loving relationships, we deliver programs with a strong emphasis on the sacredness of the person and the importance of respect and love.
Justice and Peace Education
We work in partnership with CAFOD to present activities and days with a social justice theme, including development simulation games involving up to 120 young people. Activities on these themes can also be included in our discovery days.
Residential Programs
Just Youth can send a team with your school to provide the inputs on any residential program. While we ask schools to make the accommodation arrangements with the retreat centre, we can handle everything else. We will design a tailor-made program, supply all the resources needed, and deliver the activities.

Whole-school Missions
With these events, we aim to raise awareness and energy and engage young people in faith issues in a new way. During a Mission Week or Faith Week, our team will visit your school and run a range of activities, both in RE class time and at assemblies, breaks and lunchtimes. Several members of our team are from other countries and continents and we can add some international or development-themed activites to the program if required.
Chaplaincy
We also offer the option to make Just Youth a continual part of the life of the school, with weekly visits from a Chaplain, support with liturgy, sacraments, assemblies and trips, support for staff and the provision of INSET.

Prayerpoints
We prepare a multimedia prayer resource synchronised to the Church calendar. Many of the schools we work with find it useful for morning prayers in form groups, and also for assemblies and voluntary prayers. Please ask for your free sample CD.
