For Young People
Welcome to the Just Youth website! You might already have met some of our team in school, or maybe you've heard about us through word of mouth. Either way, thanks for visiting and we hope you'll be interested in getting more involved.
Youth Group
We run a youth group every first and third Tuesday of the month, from 6.30-9.00 in the evening. All young people from Year 10, 11 and sixth form are welcome to join us for movie nights, sports, trips (we're planning an outing to Blackpool Pleasure Beach and an overnight trip to our centre in Scotland), and generally relaxing and socialising. If you want, there is also the chance to get involved in social justice work like selling FairTrade products and collecting food for homeless people at Christmas.

100 Mile Walk
Are you ready for a real challenge? Every year in the school summer holidays, a group of young people and leaders from Just Youth come together to walk 100 miles in a week. It's not luxurious – accommodation is either in youth hostels or in sleeping bags on the floor in church halls – but we think the simplicity is part of the fun. It's a week to push your limits, learn more about yourself, really get to know others and be part of a fantastic (and slightly crazy) team. We have a nurse and a paramedic walking along with us so your blisters will be well taken care of, and there's an experienced back-up team to keep everything safe.
This year's walk will take place from 27th July to 3rd August with a route running across Lancashire and Yorkshire. It's open to all young people who have finished Year 10 and older. The cost is £70, but we don't want anyone to be left out because they would have trouble paying – if that's your situation, get in touch and we'll see what we can work out.
