Retreat and Discovery Days

A Discovery Day is a retreat day for young people. This is an opportunity to take time out from the busyness of life and discover something new about themselves, other people and God. Each day has chosen theme that the young people will explore through discussions, prayer, creative activities and more. We aim to include a social justice element to all of our days. The programme can also include the Eucharist or Reconciliation.

Discovery Days can take place at the Spiritan Youth Centre or at school. Typically this programme is delivered to a year group in form or larger groups over two or more days. We can work with you to create a theme or programme to address the needs of the school and/or young people.

Residential Retreats

Perhaps one of the most memorable faith experiences for young people can be a Residential retreat. Just Youth can send a team with your school to provide the input and sacraments for any residential programme. We ask that you make the accommodation arrangements and we will do the rest. We design a programme, supplying all the resources needed and delivering the activities and prayers.

Whole School Missions

The whole school Mission can revitalise and strengthen individual faith and the school community as a whole, by engaging young people in faith issues in a new way. Up to a week in length, our team will visit your school to lead a range of activities, inviting young people to participate in discussions, reflections and prayers. Taking place both in class time, assemblies and breaks, this week will bring the whole school together as a faith community.
